Earlier this week I spoke to a NASA specialist.  Yes, that’s right, I said NASA! To be precise he works for the Jet Propulsion Laboratories in Pasedena. His name is Jordan Evans and he is the Deputy Director for Engineering and Science at NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory.

We talked about everything from Mission to Mars 2020 to Curiosity space probe.  He told me about the rovers and that they were going to check the planet for water and also how to convert the materials there into Oxygen with a machine called the MOXIE. Jordan was really nice and friendly answering all of my questions and though I didn’t understand all of it, I still loved every second of it.  I wouldn’t trade that memory for the world!  Check out this short video of me speaking with him on Thursday:

This conversation only happened after my Mum met him last week at Dublin Tech Summit after he did a talk there about Mars 2020.  My Mum is a part time journalist and had a chance to talk to him there and she mentioned me.  He offered to speak to me via Skype this week as I have an interest in Space and Science he and I arranged to talk!  This has only inspired me to do more!  I hope you reach for your dreams and get the support and opporunities that I do.  I would love to know what you want to be when you grow up?  Send me a message on my Facebook page and let me know 🙂
