This #EngineerWeek I am delighted to share recent chat with Nina Kanti who was the Lead Software Architect & Control Systems/ Embedded System Engineer for Éirloop in Nov 2017 – Sep 2018 Éirloop, was the first team to represent Ireland in the world finals at the SpaceX headquarters in California for Elon Musk’s SpaceX Hyperloop Competition.

Dubbed as the “Olympics of Engineering” their team placed 5th in the world out of the top 20 teams as well as winning an award for Innovation. I was also given the opportunity to meet her face to face a week later and we visited DCU to meet another team member Bartok and checked out the public display there of the pod!
